The hydraulic power steering uses engine load, which in turn consumes fuel, The electrical power steering does not place a load on the engine which in turn does not require more fuel. More suitable for a small or any car is electrical power steering, (some small car you don't even need power steering). Hydraulic there are so many component that needs to be replaced like the , hose, the fluid, the drive belt , As for the electrical just the motor maybe a fuse, . Go with the electrical steering.
