My malibu is shaking while stopped. Any ideas what the problem is?

can for codes , it may be a misfire or a broken mount auto parts scan for free

Thank you very much for the prompt reply. The mechanic scanned for the codes and he said that the oil pan/sump is not properly re-installed (removed before for cleaning), and that is what makes the car shake. How much is that possible?

I kind of doubt it unless it was off before, if it wasn't on right air would get into system and ruin your bearings. have someone else look at it.

Thank you again. Problem solved; I cleaned solenoid actuators (caused by dirty oil).
