Follow the leak to its source and tell your mechanic what you found.
When the engine heats up, parts expand and that can seal leaks. That's why when you let
the car sit for a few days, the leak returns (engine is cold and no more pressure).
Unless there is a trail of dried coolant or a fresh flow of coolant, leaks can be difficult to spot. I
have always kept cars in the shop over night when I can't see a leak because of this. By the next
morning, I can follow the leak to the source.
Not knowing what engine is in your caddy, I can not guess as to where the leak is coming from.
