We only recommend direct fit OEM style components.

Hi:
OEM means original equipment. We have to recommend that because when things are changed or modified to work, there could be problems that occur. Yes, I am sure you could install other brand radios, but I would not have information on anything other than OEM parts, so I wouldn't be able to help.
