The P0606 deals with the internal microprocessor conditions within the engine control module (ECM). The code could set if there is a problem with the processor or if it isn't properly programed. As far as a separate ECM for the steering, no there isn't one. However, if your vehicle has speed sensitive steering, the ECM plays a role in its function. Since the rack is new, pressures may be off and causing the processor to randomly malfunction.

As far as the . C1414, this seems to be a common problem. It involves the electric steering servo motor. From the research I have done, it seems there is a recall and should be taken care of under warranty by the dealer. Keep in mind, the servo motor may be causing the problem with the ECM

It's not on the rack itself. From my research, it appears to be on the driver's side under the hood near the firewall. I wish I knew more about these cars, but I never see them.

I have the same problem (as diagnosed by Peugeot).
I have a 2011 207, app. 40,000 miles.
I would appreciate hearing from you how your issue was resolved.

Did Peugeot repair without charging you?
