I just got into an accident with my 2011 Nissan versa. The bumper is off and doesn't seem to be any more than cosmetic damage. While taking for estimates one of the mechanics said it had been in an accident before because the brackets on each side were different... One was black and the other was silver. The car only had 12 miles when I bought it. So I've never been in another accident. Is this normal or is something off about the assembly of the vehicle?

THERE'S A GOOD CHANCE THAT THE BRACKETS ARE ALL IN A PILE AT THE FACTORY AND THEY MAY HAVE BEEN FROM TWO DIFFERENT SUBCONTRACTORS

I WOULD'NT WORRY MUCH ABOUT IT

I HOPE IT WASN'T YOUR FAULT AND YOU ARE GETTING COMPENSATED

BEST IF GET YOU A RIG WITH A REAL BUMPER!
