This vehicle is still new and information for repairs are not found in our database so we might not be able to assist you.

REsetting the battery is not going to work if you have a wiring or power supply problem.

I am not sure what problem you are facing and you need to provide more details for me to understand the problem and see if I am of any help.

What device did you install and does removing it make the sub tank work again?

Did you check for blown fuses?
Is the device you installed connected to the subtank wiring?

You need to start with the basics.

Get a DVOM to test the power supply and ground circuit of the sub tank, from switch to fuelpump.

I don't have the wiring as well but you can't miss it. Power supply to the fuel pump would be a colered wire that is bigger than others, maybe another groud wire would be of similar size.
