2011 Nissan Other Brake Light won't work

OK my 2011 juke sv fwd drivers side brake light won't work. Changed bulb and that didn't work. Took working bulb from passenger side and that won't work. Turn Signal works and so does the flashers. I'm clueless. Any suggestions..Passenger side brake light works just fine

have it scanned for codes to see if body control module is causing problem.

Would it still have a code even if check engine light isn't on?

yes there are many modules that will throw a code but only a pro can pull it out with their scanner.
