My drivers side door will not open from the outside. It opens from the inside and will lock using key and key-less. I cannot get past the metal panel that holds the window inside the door to see what the problem is. I took of the main panel exposing the speaker and wires, but there is a second panel that I cannot get past. I have take off the bolts and such, but it will not come off as it is holding the window in place.

I either need to know what the actual problem is as it does not sound like the actuator itself is the problem. I am wondering if something has broken off or came loose from the outside handle itself to the actuator.

I thought it would be under warrenty, but when I called Kia I was told that I had no warranty. A bit perplexed as I bought it used from Kia.
