Dear Expert
I have purchased a brand new Honda Civic 1.8 iVTEC car with manual transmission (Engine: R18A) 4 months back. I replaced its normal wheels and a local company tires with alloy rims and Nankang Remex RX-615 tires followed by a wheel balance. There was no issue with the drive of the car. After running only 1000 km my car hit a small very small ditch at a speed of 100 km/hr. after that my car started wobbeling or u can say bouncing (Like u have pasted a rubber patch inside a tire and car will bounce during drive, this kind of vibration or bouncing is felt during drive) at or above speeds of 140 km/hr. I got my wheels dynamically balanced and aligned from original Honda dealership but the problem did not resolve, and car started shaking above 128 km/hr. Next day I was travelling from my place to another city, I faced the same problem. On my way to other city I repeated the exercise and made my car wheels balanced and re-aligned; considering that previous day technician did not do the job well; from another dealership of Honda. But this time car started showing the same issue above 110 km/hr speed. I replaced my alloy rims with genuine Honda alloy rims and nankang tires as well with Yokohama Aspec A300 tires. Got wheels of my car balanced and aligned from a third dealership of Honda after changing these tires and rims. But the problem is still there.
Total running of my car till today is only 6000 km.
I face this problem on all kind of roads, i.e. excellent roads and town roads.
One important thing to mention here is that when technician changed regular rims to alloy rims, he removed factory installed washers from nuts of all tires saying these rims are tight without these washers.
All the three times we found tires imbalanced and misaligned.
i maintained original tire size during all tire and rim changes. 195 x 65 x R15 91 H
What can be the probable cause of this issue with my car. Please advise me as I have already spent a good amount of money on my brand new car.
Regards
