Check engine light and warnings trigger at idle, Car has gone into safe mode 4th gear once just started yesterday. No other alarms or warnings triggered. Checked fault codes and cleared car drove 150km no issues, pulled up at a red light and here we go again, abs/stability control/contact dealer/check engine MIL lit.
Codes are U0100 communication with tcm/ecm failure and P0700 transmission control error. Transmission has had a minor flare in 4th and 6th since new. Car is tuned and has some minor mods. Faults have also triggered at highway speeds "110km/h" once. Car has been fully service every 5000km's since newnow has 60000km's on her with no issues until now. Codes again are U0100 and P0700. Have checked all connections and they appear to be correct. Do I need a scantool to talk to the TCM? And find the actual "real" TCM fault code?

Check that there is no corrosion or loose pins in the ECU main cannon plug, there have been some problems with screens leaking water, and water running down the main loom into the ECU plugs.
