door panel removal

how do you remove a door panel on the 2011 gmc sierra to replace the broken mirror unit?

Remove the mirror cover on the inside with a non marring tool, behind the pull handle pocket is a cover and there is 2 screws that have to be removed. Once screw behind the release handle bezel. Then the panel has o be popped from the bottom. Once the panel is off then you will have access to the wiring and bolts.
