Air or heat will only come out of the defrost even though the button light for the vents when depress is lit.

This is due to the mode door actuator failing. Here is a guide on this issue:
https://www.2carpros.com/articles/air-vents-stay-in-the-defrost-position
Also, I am attaching the location and process from the manual on how to replace this.
