I have just recently installed a cold air intake and after about 5 miles of driving the check engine light comes on. The engine code is a P0101 for MAF out of range. After about 10 miles of drive the traction control light comes on and then I start to get random cylinder misfires. When I install the OEM intake the the problems stop and in about 20 miles the check engine light is gone. I have checked for vacuum leaks and i cant find anything. I have sealed any possible leak areas and it still throws the check engine light.

Thank you for any help you can give!

what it means is that the maf can't handle the extra air coming through the low restriction filter. make sure your duct work has no holes and is correctly hooked up as that may cause it as well.
