engine brake-in

2011 Ford F-350 super duty 6.2 gas engine. Is it better to brake- in engine with regular 5-20 oil or use synthetic, will using regular 5-20 void warranty?

Ford recommends synthetic, I can't speak to the possible warranty issue, why risk it, put the good stuff in there and sleep better at night. Or in the day, I dont know your schedule.
