brake problem

I bought a 2011 dodge caliber 48 days ago. has developed screeching from rear wheels. tooke where purchased was told that it is a maintenance problem that the back drums have dirt on them and need turned cost to me $175. my problem or should they fix problem because it had to be there when I purchased car.

Vehicle is almost new and should still be under warranty. They should have it resolved for you. Contact the dealer if necessary.
