Program procedures are in owners manual, but I would have dealer do under bumper to bumper warranty.

I checked my 2010 owner's manual. It states that a new key must be brought to the dealership for programming. I have not been able to find any instructions.

Yes, dealer will have to program it, especially if equipped with engine immobilizer.
