2010 Subaru Legacy Headlight Question

My headlight went out a few days ago and I just got done replacing the one that was out during lunch. When I started up the car to look at my headlights, the bulb i changed out is working, but I noticed that there is a little bulb out on the other set of headlights. Now this bulb may have been out for some time, but I don't know what it is, what its for, and I haven't been able to find any info on it. See the attached pic. Thanks-

they call that a clearance light and it 's hooked up to interior light system so it may come on when you get out of car at night the same tiem the door opens. it's a 5watt bulb
