Hi,
Could you suggest a Power Steering fluid which I can pick up from Wal-Mart / Target for my 2010 Nissan Maxima 3.5 SV?

Thanks in advance

Hello,

Dextron VI or ATF may be used. Here is what the manual says.

Fluid Types - Genuine Nissan PSF or equivalent. Here is how you add and flush the system

Check out the diagrams (Below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

Of course it will stop it from working. The whole system works from oil pressure. You need to locate the leak and repair it, whatever it needs.
