as i press the gas pedal my car barely moves. please help

Does the rpms go up without the car moving?ANy troubl;e codes in the computer?

nope, it stays on 0 mph on the odometer

What do you mean 0mph on the odometer?Iam asking about the tach which is engine rpms not speed.You already said it wont go over 5 mph.Also any codes in the computer?
