I have been told all different things about tire spots. I have let my Hyundai sit for 3 months. I am worried about tired spots. Some people insist they are a thing of the past and some say they still happen. The car has been in a dry garage with mostly warm temperatures (in Southern Florida) The tires only had about 8000 miles of wear on them. So is there anything to worry about? They are factory tires.

Materials used in the manufacture of tires varies from one tire to the next. Which materials can have an effect on how the tire acts when left sitting. regardless, it's not a good thing to sit in one position too long. I would move the car at least a foot or two regularly.
