I ran my auto lock/unlock device (the one attached to the keys) through the washing machine by mistake. It is now dry and it seems to work. Should I have any worries about it going forward or should it be alright since it is alright now? Am I lucky or are they made to take that?

it's ok and getting wet usually does not permanently effect these things unless allowed to stay wet too long.

If those things ever do break can they be fixed or replaced by the dealer for a charge?
