2010 Hyundai Accent Engine Started Clattering Short Time Later Iol Lite

my engine started clattering then a short time later the iol lite started flickering and then the engine lite came on. I'm thinking maybe the oil filter may be plugged.... more like hoping. if not, I'm guessing maybe the oil pump. Am I leaning in the right direction or am I way off base?

Change oil and filter first and check oil pressure with a mechanical gauge, do this and report the readings.
