any idea what is causing

2010 mustang gt v8 4.6 5 speed ticking noise with slight acceleration. very audible. eventually blends end with engine when it warms up.

Started shortly after oil change. No idiot lights, Usually, can hear when cold and lower rpms. I think the noise is getting louder, husband says i'm just aggravated.

It could be the valve lifter noise. Was the correct specification oil used for the oil change?

Since vehicle is still under warranty, get the dealer to have a look at it.
