wiper washer not working

hi sir
my 2010 ford ikon is giving me problem with washer of wiper.
when i press the button to activate the washer for the wiper to clean front windshield but only the wiper works and not the washer motor . is there something serious or i can repair it on my own ?
please help

Check the washer motor connector, make sure it is secure. Next have someone press wash button, listen for motor, it should hum, if not motor could be bad and generally they are easy to change.

They are usually in bottom of washer fluid tank, new motors come with motor and seals.
