I am getting a P2119 (Throttle Actuator Control Throttle Body) fault code on my I4 Engine. It is my understanding that the most probably cause is either a faulty throttle position (TP) sensor or an accelerator pedal position (APP) sensor. Would anyone have have the test procedure to determine if either of these sensors are faulty? Thanks, Jay

The TPS sensor is built inside the throttle body. Ford has extended the throttle body warranty to ten years/ 150,000 miles if it is defective. So I recommend you take it in to Ford for proper diagnostic.

Just saw the mileage on your vehicle? I would still try to see if they will do it under the extended warranty coverage. Maybe some type of goodwill since you have not passed the mileage by much?
