The heat is intermittent. Cold at times, then will warm for a period. Is it the thermostat, or does it just need antifreeze?

check coolant level first if full check both hoses to heater for being hot if they are t hen check temp actutor in heater, try pullin ghvac fuse for 60 seconds then reinstalling it sometimes reset actuators.
