Engines designed to be used with turbochargers and superchargers use a lower compression ratio. You'll need to replace the pistons to accomplish that. When you have the extra power you look for a reason to use it, and if you keep the original compression ratio you will eventually damage the engine. The connecting rods will likely be the first thing to be destroyed.
If you don't do any modifications to the engine so it can accept the supercharger, you can do like they did in the videos, but those videos don't show how many of those engines flew apart.
