My engine is overheating when i work it to hard but the heater is blowing cold air. I replaced the thermostat and there are no leaks. What is wrong?

The heater is likely blowing cold air because there is nothing but air in the heater core because the system has a leak. You need to pressure test the system for leaks. If you have overheated severely in the past, then you may be looking at a blown head gasket at this point.
