How do I remove the tail light lens on my 2010 Daihatsu Terios? I want to replace a blown bulb.

The owners manual only say remove two bolts. After removing the bolts the lens is only partially loose. Are there clips or something else that also secure the lense to te body? In which direction must I pull or lift to get the lense out without breaking off any clips?

The taillight is plugged in from rear. You need to pull it outwards to get the clips loose after removing the bolts.

You can use a ruller to pry at the edges of the lens to avoid yanking at the taillight assy.

YES THERE ARE TWO BOLTS

AND

A PHILIPS SCREW HIDDEN AT THE BASE OF THE RED VENTED BIT
Remove the bolts AND the screw and it pulls off easily - You can pull it off without undoing the screw BUT it is tough
