I HAVE A DAIHATSU TEROIS 2010 MODEL WITH ABOUT 100000KM
HOW SHOULD I KNOW THAT WHEN IT IS CORRECT TIME TO REPLACE GEAR OIL IN AN AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION VECHILE AND WHAT TYPE OF ATF CAN BE USED TO REPLACE IT
ALSO IF YOU CAN SEND ME THE COMPLETE REPLACING PROCEDURE IT WILL BE HELPFUL

Manufacturer recommends the transmission fluids to be replaced every 40,000 km but that means a complete replacement. I would recommend drain and fill every 20,000 km.

Dexron III or equivalent it the recommended grade.

Remove the drain plug and let the fluids drain off. Start the engine for 30 seconds and reinstall drain plug. Top up the necessary amount (whatever amount you have drained out) of fluid and you are good to go. Recheck the level after warming up the engine/transmission.
