How do I change the oil filter (Engine: 1.4 L HDI) ?

The oil filter seems to be situated on the lefthand side of the engine, under a black plastic cap, but how do I get the cap off ?

There will be a special tool required to grip and turn the cap, you must be careful not to damage the cap as it is only plastic and the thread can easily be damaged. Most parts stores carry these filter tools.
