Changing my oil and accidentally poured about 1/2 cup in the transmission. I am going to change the fluid. Should I purchase quite a bit of transmission fluid and just rinse it trough? Do unwed to replace theffilter? Or should I lookinto getting it flushed? I have not ran the motor.

I t probably won't hurt a thing like it is. thee are about 12 qts in a trans so 8 oz isn't much to worry about. but if you want change the fluid that should get it out unless youstart the truck. you'll needabout 4- 5 to fill the pan
