How can you tell that your transmission level is good on a 2010 Chevy Malibu. I Cant see no fluid now where and plus it doesn't have a dip stick to check it. So how can i tell that my transmission level is good.

Remove the transmission oil drain plug in the transmission case near the right hand axle seal. It is on the engine side of the seal, below the seal.

2. From on top of the transmission, remove the vent plug assembly.

3. With the engine idling at operating temperature, add transmission fluid through the top hole until it runs out of the bottom hole

Check out the diagram (Below) #65

There is probably a vent plug on top of transaxle, you add fluid there, if needed.

Checkout Bluelightnin6 post has diagram of vent that is removed to add fluid. First car needs to be jacked up level and check plug removed to see if it needs fluid
