Tried to turn it on and it would not start.

If the battery is good and the starter is not turning the engine we need to see if the starter trigger wire is getting power. Here are the guides to help us see if there is power:

Make sure the battery is good, check to make sure the connections are clean and tight.

Make sure there is power to the starter. You may want to have it checked too.
