can anyone tell me who made the chevy engine in the later model model. can't seem to find anyone who knows...even called the dealer. that's surprising...!

So are you trying to figure who made the 2010 hhr engine?What size engine?

I believe it is a 2.2 litre. 2010 HHR. It's funny that no one can tell me. I hope you can. I really like the car, and it would be nice to know who made the engine, and where it was built..Thanks Bob

From what i see for parts compatiabilty etc that is a gm ecotech engine.Not sure what plant they build it in though they have been using it for a while in a lot of differnt cars.The timing chains were the weak link on them but they worked that issue out.

I did hear something about the block pistions etc was a saab one.
