I have a 2009 Passat that is codeing cylinder 1 misfire, the check engine light comes on and the engine skips at first but levels out after first mile or two. the dealership is saying it is due to carbon build up. Will seafoam and high test fuel help? or is there another solution?

I wouldn't really recommend seafoam on your vehicle. What we do at your dealership is remove the intake manifold, soak the head ports with a special cleaner, then suck all the cleaner back out of the head. This is a lot safer than running sea foam through your engine.

Labour should be around 4-5 hours. So $500 tops.
