I drove about 4 miles to a shop,the car was fine.w hen i came out and went to drive off,the car started ok but when i move off it moved off very slowly with no acceleration and the car was jumping or kangarooing down the road.it carried on for about a quarter of a mile,so i pulled over by this time there was smoke from the exhaust.i started pumping the accelerator and it started to rev properly.when i tried to move off again it was fine and a day later it is still running ok?
