If that's all you did, the Engine Computer needs to relearn something, and that is done when certain conditions are met during normal driving. The only one I have memorized is an idle speed that's too low on Chrysler products. The relearn that always solves that takes place when driving at highway speed with the engine warmed up, then coasting for at least seven seconds without touching the pedals. I have not heard of anything like this on other brands of vehicles, so I suspect yours will clear up shortly.
Fuel trim data was lost too when the battery was disconnected, but that information is typically relearned very quickly without you even noticing a performance issue.
