The car will not start from time to time without any reason that I can determine. All dashboard lights and gauges come on when the key is turned but the engine will not turn over. No clicking, nothing. Battery cables appear fine with very little corrosion. The problem is very random. Engine usually stars right up on first try, but occasionally nothing. Then after a while, it starts right up. Any ideas?

Hello,

This sounds like a bad battery connection which you can check and fix by using this guide:

If that is okay the starter is next test the trigger wire using a test light and if lights up and the starter is not working the starter is bad. Here is a guide that can help:
