2009 Pontiac G6 powersteering

so far only when its cold when making a 90 degree left turn steering sticks at quarter turn and 2 times now with min. of 1 inch of snow in the ground power steering completely cut out and only turned on after restarted car power steering only shut down while making 90 degree right turn at about 25 mph any ideas?

have a pro check this because it may be an electric steering causing the problem there is a tsb concerning electronic steering so have it scanned an auto parts cannot scan for this.
