64,000 miles. Car died and wouldn't start, odometer reads "error". Had it towed to the local Chevy dealer. He calls and says the fuse box needs to be replaced at $700 and did I know that 3 fuses were missing (5, 13, 16) and then I may need some modules replaced at another $600. Started looking online for similar problems. I did find a couple of technical service bulletins that talked about. "battery ground cables" and "damaged or poor terminals for under hood fuse block". Would this cause the problems I'm seeing now?
These are codes he said he got:
U2105
U2106
U2107
U2108
B0081
B1325
B1370
B3055
Meanwhile, I contact GM Customer Service and mention the technical service bulletins to her and the next day the Chevy dealer calls me and says they now think it may be the battery cables and that would cost $403 to replace, but may still have to replace the fuse box (not sure) and the modules may reset themselves or they may need to be replaced.
Not sure what to believe now. Any help would be appreciated!
