Its seem like the gears aren't changing. Is this normal?

It seems like the car is in one constant gear all the time no matter where I drive.

You can get a transmission scanned or get a mechanic to go for a drive with a live data feed plugged in and see what exactly the transmission is doing, this will show you if the transmission is hanging up in any gear, start here.
