a year 2009 nissan elgrand's sunroof not closing or vice vesa. What could be the problem and hw can i solve it.

Have you checked the fuses?

yeah fuses are ok. I had to close it using a prob light at its motoring leads at the main switch interchanging them between close and open. It worked manually yes,but the system failed to return to normalcy

Use a scan tool to trest the system and check for trouble codes. This is linked to the Body Control Module.
