Have you tried turning the steering wheel and wiggling the keys?

The key tumblers seems to be bad ( seems rather unlikely for the tumblers to go bad with such a new vehicle) or you have the wrong key. Steering being locked is not a problem as the ignition key would unlock it.

Ensure you have the correct ke. Try wggling the key again nad turn the steering wheel away from the stuck position to release the pressure on the lock while you turn the ignition key. If it fails, you would need to get a locksmith to look at it.

If vehicle is still warranty, get the dealer to handle it.
