battery went dead, changed it and now tire pressue light blinks about 10 times and stays on continuously. Have driven car over 35 miles a hour and checked tire pressure with no change.

Have the trouble codes cleared and see if it returns. Any Advance Auto ro Auto Zone will do this for free.
