The battery light stays on. The battery is new and the alternator checked out good. Also while driving the radio cuts off, the gas gauge goes to E and the RPM gauge doesn't move, almost like the car is turned off. Everything will start working normal after about 20-25 seconds. It doesnt happen all the time

Is the battery going dead? Has anyone checked the fuseable link between the alt and the battery?
