dpf started flashing when service was due i know it doubles as a service light , couldnt afford service at time and drove for another 4000 miles finally got car serviced by local garage but they could not reset light and a fault code came on computer of p2459
car running fine and has now done 5500 since light first came on please help

We do not have the information for this trouble code so I do not know what this code means.

When a code could not be reset, it means the fault is there and you need to have it rectified first.
