2009 Jeep Grand Cherokee Clicking Sound Started Days Ago Stopped This M Again

a clicking sound started a few days ago then stopped. This a.m. it started again and increased in speed when i accelarated. while sitting idle the noise stopped again but then started back up. i have nothing running except the engine when this sound occurs. could this be a belt?

I'm not sure I understand? Only clicking with vehicle moving? If you think it is mechanical check the wheel bearings and drive joints. That could be dangerous or at the least, leave you stranded?
