2009 Hyundai i10 clutch

my car was having problems getting into gear I took it to a garage. They adjusted something and it was ok for about a week. But then it went again I took it back and was told I needed a new clutch. That was 6 weeks ago and then I had the same problem and it had to toed back to the garage. They are now saying that it is the clutch plate that needs to be replaced. Is this just an unfortunate coincidence or should this not have spotted when the clutch was replaced?

if the clutch plate wore out in 6 weeks you are either a person who rides the clutch all the time OR there is a problem with the hydraulics or cable or clutch linkage. the clutch plate is part of the replacement as it gets normally a release bearing, pressure plate and clutch plate when it's replaced.
